ProMusica Arizona Orchestral Conducting MasterClass
With Dr. Lawrence Golan
March 10, 2012
The deadline for application for the PMAZ Orchestral Conducting MasterClass has been extended to February 17th to allow additional applicants to participate. The class provides an opportunity for conductors to sharpen, develop, and hone their conducting skills and artistic musical interpretation. Dr. Lawrence Golan will coach and guide each participant in artistic interpretation of the music, refining their physical gesture to reflect that interpretation, and getting the most out of the rehearsal process. Kevin Kozacek, PMAZ Co-Artistic Director says, "I have studied with Lawrence Golan, and $250 for the opportunity to stand on the podium in front of a full orchestra and receive constructive critique and instruction in the art of conducting from a true national Maestro is an incredible opportunity not to be misseed." Other topics will provide valuable information in such areas as tuning and balance, which will help both experienced and new conductors reach their full potential.
