At 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, ProMusica Arizona is hosting an event in the tent in Anthem’s Community Park. The Fall Festival is oriented to families who might enjoy some music, food, prizes and an introduction to ProMusica’s Youth Orchestra. In this outreach program, PMAZ will use the big tent set up for the Daisy Mountain Veterans bingo event on Friday and the Anthem Rotary Roundup fundraiser on Saturday.
In true collaborative spirit, the Rotary will provide manpower and support for the ProMusica event, doling out hot dogs and sodas FREE to the first 100 kids and for a small charge for everyone after the magic 100. Kids will also enjoy carnival games and other entertainment on the park grounds.
Once guests are inside the big tent, music takes center stage. The PMAZ Youth Orchestra will entertain with classic “Dance Music through the Ages,” including the waltz and polka, and of course the ever-popular wedding reception favorite, “The Chicken Dance.” The goal for the event is to raise awareness of ProMusica for families; in particular, the youth programs are an important source of education and training for kids, but also provide a source of new talent for the Youth Orchestra and ultimately the Adult Orchestra.
