This last work, a beautiful setting of Robert Frost poems, is often performed with only piano accompaniment, but was performed with full orchestration. The ProMusica Orchestra will also performed selections from Gershwin's "An American in Paris," as well as Washburn's "Clarkson Centennial Overture," and Robbins Coleman's "For a Beautiful Land."  This concert was partially funded by a grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts which also provided an opportunity for ProMusica to sponsor a half-day workshop for choral students at Mountain Ridge High School on "Frostiana," led by our artistic director Kevin Kozacek.  ProMusica was able to provide the school with 60 copies of the work.  Seven students from those attending the workshop were selected by audition to join ProMusica's Chorale for the March performance.  (750)
