ProMusica Arizona Chorale Announces Auditions for Male Singers ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra began rehearsals January 7 for their Spring Season and will be auditioning interested singers for openings in the men's bass, baritone and tenor sections. Private auditions will be scheduled for interested singers. PMAZ is a volunteer community music organization made up of more than 100 singers and orchestra musicians from the North Valley area. It performs four to six major concerts each year in a season that runs from August to May. PMAZ is fast becoming one of the hottest tickets in the north valley. It's last concert was a sell out "Deck the Hall" Holiday Dinner concert on December 16th for 234 people at the Anthem Country Club Ironwood Ballroom. ProMusica Arizona has exciting concerts coming up with music that will capture the hearts of people of all ages. Music lovers will want to mark your calendars and purchase tickets early for the "Broadway Blast" concert scheduled for March 14 and 15th at 7:30 P.M. at Boulder Creek Performing Arts Center, 42424 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway in Anthem. This concert will feature popular music from beloved Broadway plays like, "Cats," "Phantom of the Opera," Evita," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Sound of Music," "South Pacific," "King and I" and many more. Also featured will be music from Irving Berlin and MGM Movie Musicals. "Family Fun Fables and Tall Tales" is the second concert at 7:30 P.M. on May 16 and 17 th also at Boulder Creek Performing Arts Center . A special matinee performance has been added on Saturday the 17th at 2 P.M. This concert is a perfect opportunity to introduce children to the magic of live music with musical settings of literary classics like "Peter and the Wolf" and "Aesop's Fables." Singers interested in auditioning for openings in the men's sections must be available for the performances listed above and rehearsals on Monday evenings at Boulder Creek High School in Anthem. Auditions times need to be made as soon as possible.
