A Workshop for Choral Conductors
Saturday, Feb 6, 2010
Boulder Creek High School Performing Arts Center
40404 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway
Anthem, Arizona 85086
General Information
The ProMusica Arizona Choral Workshop is an opportunity for school, church and community conductors to sharpen, develop, and hone their conducting skills and artistic musical interpretation. Dr. Dale Warland will coach and guide each conducting fellow in artistic interpretation of the music, refining their physical gesture to reflect that interpretation, and getting the most out of the rehearsal process. Other sessions will provide valuable information in such areas as vocal tone and development, diction problems, and voice production—all of which will help both experienced and new conductors reach their full potential.
